This 30 minute video reviews the four one hour round pen sessions that led up
to the finals which were held in one of the larger arenas at the Westerner Park
Facility.
Jay, the only Canadian Trainer, along with two other American competitors worked with unbroken 3-year old colts as they demonstrated their individual approach to earning respect, gaining control and forming a mutual relationship built on trust with their horses. Each round pen session, plus the finals were judged by a panel of three judges. Each trainer had to prepare and then perform a number of mandatory manoeuvres in the final session.
