Jay continues to develop confidence and trust in his horse as he seeks control of her feet. Using his lead rope, he demonstrates how to pick up each foot and, in doing so, increases the horse's familiarity and comfort-level with the rope. Jay emphasizes the gradual nature of these exercises, never hurrying and always giving the horse the time she needs. Jay continues this section as he uses the rope to simulate the feeling of the cinch. He then teaches the horse to follow a feel to turn left and then right. As always, Jay uses patience and a gentle touch.
